Friction a SEXY All-New Standalone from Emily Snow is now LIVE!

Former overachiever Lucy WillIams sucks at adulting.

Recent divorce, check.

Pending lawsuit, check.

A move back to Boston to live with her mother, triple check.

It can’t get much worse, right?

When she starts her new marketing job at EXtreme Effects, she’s positive shit’s stopped hitting the fan. Sure, what she’s advertising is a little … unorthodox, but it pays the bills. And since she’s seconds away from becoming Lucy Williams: Wednesday Night Bingo Enthusiast, she needs money to get the hell out of her mother’s house.

The only problem is her boss, Mr. Extreme himself: Jace Exley. He’s everything any sane woman dreams of—alpha, successful, ridiculously gorgeous. He’s also Lucy’s worst nightmare. Because like every overachiever, she has that underachiever she brushed off. The slacker who, once upon a time ago, was the object of her dirtiest schoolgirl fantasies.

Jace Exley—with his sarcastic smirk and delicious accent—just happens to be that guy.

And the friction between them?

Well, that’s the only adulting Lucy seems to be winning at.

Melanie’s 4-Star Review:

A slow building romance with a thick amount of sexual tension, Emily Snow’s Friction had my stomach and my panties in a twist. There were many times in the book that I was tempted to skip through the pages so that I’d jump right into the heat of it all but I held off the temptation and worked through the teasing and the prodding that Ms. Snow so meticulously concocted.

Lucinda “Lucy” Williams, is going through a rough patch in her life. With a divorce and with her A-hole of a soon to be ex threatening to sue her, she finds herself jobless and moving back in her old hometown to live with her mom. When a Craigslist job opening leads to a job interview, Lucy’s life unexpectedly turns for the better even if it seems like the complete opposite at first. For Jace Exley, Lucy “I Know It All” Williams has always been the one who got away. The smart, pristine, beautiful girl he could never have. But now her future is in his hands. With Lucy’s knack for Marketing and Jace’s need to expand his business, he takes a chance on Lucy even if it means that temptation would be an everyday struggle.

I totally loved the sexual tension that sizzled between Lucy and Jace. From the get go you get a taste of their attraction for one another, add on the “no touch” rule… Well, that just screams trouble. Though I will say that I wish they had given into their desires earlier than they actually did because these two together caused major thigh clenches to happen. Whoa. Talk about HOT!

Friction was a good late night read. Perfect to wake your slumbering bed mate (be that your husband/boyfriend/girlfriend/friend with benefits). For those looking for a slow building read with major hottie tottie scenes, then this one should definitely be one worth checking out.
