Wilder by Rebecca Yarros Release Day Blitz/Review

He’s Paxton Wilder.

Twenty-two-year-old, tattooed, smoking-hot leader of the Renegades.

Five time X Games medalist.

The world is his playground—especially this year—and for the next nine months I’m stuck as his tutor on the Study at Sea program.

He’s too busy staging worldwide stunts for his documentary to get to class.

But if I can’t get him to take academics seriously, I’ll lose my scholarship…if I don’t lose my heart first.

Six unlikely friends on a nine-month cruise with the Study at Sea program will learn that chemistry is more than a subject and the best lessons aren’t taught in the classroom…but in the heart.

4.5 Stars

This was a nice refreshing read for me. After my last book I read (it was an emotional roller coaster! (This was read Aug 31st)) this book was just what I needed. I totally devoured this book. I just fell in love with all the characters.
This is the 3rd book I’ve read by this author. And I have to say… I’m a big fan of her work. I have other books by her. It just makes me glad that my 1-click finger bought her books!

This story was so good but also kinda sad! What Leah went through…. I can’t even imagine. She’s a fighter! That’s for sure. So I could totally understand all her fears and wanting to play it safe.
Paxton was a force to be reckon with. He lived his life to the fullest… No regrets. Him and his friends started a group called the Renegades. They did all these crazy and dangerous stunts. There was no slowing down for them. Paxton was so use to living life on the edge that when Leah came into the picture. It knocked him down.

They brought the best out of each other. And pushed each other out of their comfort zone.
This book had it all! The excitement of a professional dare devil… A little mystery surrounding the group of friends and of course the love story!

I loved how Paxton and Leah came together. Leah’s character was so strong. She didn’t take Paxton crap. And I loved that. She made him work for it! And in return Paxton shows Leah that she can tackle her demons and move on with her life.

I’m really looking forward to the next book on his series! And I hope Landon’s and Rachel’s get a book!!!
