Omg… I devoured this book!!!
I didn’t want to put it down! I was all over the place!
This book was kind of sad.
But at the same time too a prefect ending to this series.Gia was all over the place….unorganized & forgetful. She was truly a struggling dancer trying to make it big. She had a love them and leave them attitude when it came to man.
She just never saw herself settling down with just one man.
So…
When it came to taste in men. She saw all the wrong kind of men. Jasper being one of them. He was way older than her. Had kids and was going through an ugly divorce.
All those things alone would have me screaming WRONG MAN….
DANGER!DANGER!…lol
Because what sane 23 year old women would put up with all that. I’m getting the chills just thinking about it!…lol

But… Gia being Gia… Fell head over heels for him. And in the process… She lost herself a little. I was just so surprise how much she took being with Jasper. He was so set in his ways and she truly felt like like she was a walking cliché…
“The younger woman with an older man.”
She saw all this but she kept going back to him.

When everything went down between her and Jasper. I had tears in my eyes! I felt so bad! But at the same time I kept thinking. How did she think he would take it? Everything that happened after.
Man… I really felt bad for her!
As I was reading it. I felt her pain.

Cam has always been there for Gia. They both got each other. Just like Gia… Cam never did relationships. But he always had a soft spot for Gia.
Cam was there for Gia when she really needed a friend. And in the process. They both were able to see each other in a different light.
I loved reading how they both took a chance on each other and crossed that imaginary line. They were so good together!

I loved this book! I got to catch up with all the characters from previous books and see how their live turned out.
I was kind of bummed that we didn’t get anything about Teigan and Olivia. I’m hoping its in the works!!
And I can read more about everyone in this series!

“Oh, come on, Cam, we can’t all be famous baseball players like you.” He shook his head and flashed me that grin again. “So tell me, are they real?”
“What?” he creased his forehead, looking totally confused.
“Willow Asher’s boobs.”
“Only you, Gia!” He chuckled.
“Well, seriously. I mean, no one can be that beautiful naturally. Please tell me all those photos I see of her in magazines are photo-shopped.”
“I don’t know, but I think you’re a natural beauty.”
“Ahh, you’re so sweet, and a very good liar.”
“Hey now, I’m not lying. I do.”
“Well, thank you, Cam, but compared to her, I’m a rag doll.”
He rolled his eyes. “So, how’s ‘what’s his face’ doing? Are you still seeing him?”
“What’s his face? You mean, Jasper?” I giggled. “Yeah I am, and he’s doing good. Wish he was here….but whatever.”
“Well, where is he?”
“Tokyo.” He nodded and looked straight ahead. “He was supposed to have come but was called away on business at the last minute. No biggie. I’m kinda used to it.” I let out a deep sigh.
“Well, he must be pretty special, this is a record for you.” He smirked.
“Look who’s talking? Who is your flavor of the month? Let’s see, is it an exotic super model, or an Oscar winning actress?” I giggled.
“Don’t have one this month.” He laughed.
I held my hand over my heart. “Wow…..that’s a shocker!”
“Keep it up, funny girl.”
The light moment that had just passed between us made me realize once again just how different my life was from my ‘put together’ twin sister. “Carrie and Jason, they look so happy.” I stared straight ahead.
“Don’t sound so down. It’s a good thing.”
“Oh, I’m not. It’s just sometimes, I wonder if I’m normal.”
“What do you mean?”
“I can’t ever imagine myself settling down and doing the whole marriage and baby thing. I mean, what’s wrong with me? It totally goes against the female DNA, doesn’t it?”
“Nah. It’s just not what you want out of life right now. Who knows, maybe someday you’ll change your mind.”
“Doubt it, but whatever.”
“Maybe What’s his face -“
“J-a-s-p-e-r!” I laughed.
“Yeah, him.” He laughed back. “Maybe he’s the one that will make you change your mind.”

Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different person with just the stroke of a pen – or in today’s world a touch of the keyboard. I am the author of The Exception To The Rule, An Unplanned Lesson, An Unplanned Life Drowning In Love, A Cry for Hope, A Will To Change, Blind Side of Love, When The Chips Are Down and Easy Silence. My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? I’m a mom of twin teenage boys, a crazy Border Collie and a cat with an identity crisis! I guess you can say writing is my form of Calgon!
