He knows how to score, on and off the ice

Allie Hayes is in crisis mode. With graduation looming, she still doesn’t have the first clue about what she’s going to do after college. To make matters worse, she’s nursing a broken heart thanks to the end of her longtime relationship. Wild rebound sex is definitely not the solution to her problems, but gorgeous hockey star Dean Di-Laurentis is impossible to resist. Just once, though, because even if her future is uncertain, it sure as heck won’t include the king of one-night stands.

It’ll take more than flashy moves to win her over

Dean always gets what he wants. Girls, grades, girls, recognition, girls…he’s a ladies man, all right, and he’s yet to meet a woman who’s immune to his charms. Until Allie. For one night, the feisty blonde rocked his entire world—and now she wants to be friends? Nope. It’s not over until he says it’s over. Dean is in full-on pursuit, but when life-rocking changes strike, he starts to wonder if maybe it’s time to stop focusing on scoring…and shoot for love.

I’m not going to lie. I was expecting something a little different. Allie and her her whole wanting to be a actress just didn’t do it for me. The reason why she broke up with her ex Sean and then after having a hard time staying away from him. Just was hard for me to get behind. It just showed conflict on her part. I just wish she was more sure of her decision.

And I hated how Dean and her first got together. He literally was up to no good right before Allie walks through the door.
I mean… Come on! I know he’s a big time player. But that’s just gross!

This book was a little different than the previous books in the series. Dean was Dean. But I like how we saw the change in him. He grew up and owned up to his mistakes.
Allie… I struggled with her character. I wanted to like her more… But the way she handled the whole Sean breakup kind of set the tone for me with her.

There were a lot of LOL moments in this book but by far the most funniest was the bathroom scene! Omg!
I was laughing like a crazy person in a restaurant I was at. Killing some time waiting for my table to be ready! I had people looking at me like I was crazy!

I love reading about all the characters in this book! And I can’t wait to read the next book in his series!
