I enjoyed this book. It had a realistic feel to it. The average guy…. Wife and kids. I thought ok… I can see where this book is going.
But… then you get the little twist early on. And that surprised me. I really enjoyed the little twist. That was different from other books I’ve read. The whole family dynamic.

Dylan was all about his family. Nothing and I mean nothing was going to mess up his prefect image of how he thought his family was supposed to be. He wanted his kids to grow up with happy memories of their parents together.
Even if he had to sacrifice his youth years doing it.
Dylan was a strong man… But very stubborn and set in his ways. He was sooo far in the closet. He could not even see the light! He had a hard time letting go and relaxing!
I loved Teri. she was really on Dylan’s side from day one! And she helped him realize that he can have happiness too. He didn’t have to wait.

Tristan was so easy going and accepting. He was also very patient.
He took all of Dylan’s rules and tested and pushed them. He wanted to show Dylan what life could be like by not hiding. He really went all out for Dylan. Even surprising himself. Tristan really wanted to just be there for Dylan.
When they came together. It was pretty damn hot and explosive! They were just so good together!

But… as I kept reading two thing kept bothering me. One was how far Dylan took his secret. I could understand Dylan’s reservations about keeping everything private between him and Tristan.
But… After everything he went through already with Tristan. He should have trusted him that he wouldn’t put him in a compromising position. And Dylan’s overall stiffness throughout this book was a little much for me.
Yes, we got a softer side of him. But more than likely it was always followed with regret. Because he had let his guard down.
I hated that!
We didn’t see a softer side of Dylan until the very end of the book.

And…
Even though I felt the heat between Dylan and Tristan. This book felt a little businesslike. With all the technical stuff that was required for the company merging. It just felt all too technical.

Other than what I just mentioned. I really did enjoy this book. I love reading Kindle’s books. I always know that I’m going to get introduced to some incredible new characters.

Would I recommend this book to other people… Yes I would!
Would I read books by this author… Definitely yes!

MeetTheAuthor
Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It’s always a surprise to see what’s coming next!
I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it’s true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women’s hair!
Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life – I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations – regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal… I don’t want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I’m going to tell you about Kindle.
I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I’ll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died – weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn’t have to be alone.
That time in my life was terrible. It’s everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.
Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness – it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.
Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn’t a time she wasn’t there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It’s its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn’t be here today without her.
