Twisted (Tangled #2)
by Emma Chase
There are two kinds of people in the world. The ones who look first, and the ones who leap. I’ve always been more of a looker. Cautious. A planner. That changed after I met Drew Evans. He was so persistent. So sure of himself – and of me.
But not all love stories end happily ever after. Did you think Drew and I were going to ride off into the sunset? Join the club. Now I have to make a choice, the most important of my life. Drew already made his –in fact, he tried to decide for the both of us. But you know that’s just not my style. So I came back to Greenville. Alone. Well, sort of alone….
What I’ve come to realize is that old habits die hard and sometimes you have to go back to where you began, before you can move ahead.
TWISTED picks up two years after Tangled’s end, and is told from Kate’s POV.
This is kind of hard for me to put in words!!
I loved & hated this book!!
This book was a lot different then the other two books in the series. That’s for sure…
What I loved about this Book was the consistency of it! From Tangled to Holy Frigging Matrimony to Twisted… It all flows perfectly. The writing style the humor everything was just spot on!
I loved that!! I’ve said this before in one of my other reviews.. when you read a series you want it to be consistent. You want it to flow right into the next book & the next book with out skipping a beat… And you get that in this series!!
The parts I hated in this book were just to much for me. Stuff you shouldn’t even bring up or refer to them in the matter that they were brought up in.
Cause nothing can really compare to that horrible moment.
Bringing up 9/11 & a mother who drowned her kids…
Is something I don’t want to read about. Especially when you are trying to justify Kate’s feeling to certain situations! It just didn’t work for me! I just couldn’t believe the author would go there.
This book was about one big giant misunderstanding! That snowed balled into something so big!! It was ridiculous. It got dragged out for way long.
Both Kate & Drew had me going. & not in a good way.
I hated Drew for what he did & I hated Kate for how she thought of her situation!!
I was truly shocked to be honest!! That she could even think that way & feel that way just to please a man… It just disgusted me!!
This was just a whole new Kate from the last two books!
This Kate was weak…
It was very hard for me to relate to her.
She reminded me of one of those girls that would say & do anything to to keep her man…
No matter what she caught him doing red handed! Because her life just couldn’t go on with out him!
She forgave to easy…& I just overall wasn’t feeling her.
I don’t know what that boy was thinking!! What he did was pretty unforgivable in my book.
And what he said!!! Ughhh… How can you forgive that!!!
I know he was pissed!!!
But… His true colors where showing there!!
The ending of the book was good. You get a HEA.. But to me.. The way they got there… Just left me with a bad taste in my mouth.
I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Emma is an avid reader. Before her children were born she was known to consume whole books in a single day. Writing has also always been a passion and with the 2013 release of her debut romantic comedy, Tangled, the ability to now call herself an author is nothing less than a dream come true.
